GitEstimate.com is operated by AppVizo, LLC (“GitEstimate,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, request a demo, create an account, or use our estimating software.

GitEstimate does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other parties for their marketing or other independent use. We do not rent or trade contact lists.

What we collect

Depending on how you use GitEstimate, we may collect:

• Account information — email, password, name, address, phone, and related business details when you register or complete a demo profile.
• Inquiries — business name, name, email, phone, and message from our contact form, plus information you provide when booking a demo.
• Estimate information — building configurations and customer details (such as name, email, phone, and address) that a builder enters or that a website visitor submits through that builder’s estimator.
• Usage data — technical information such as browser type, pages viewed, and similar data used to operate and improve the site.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide and support the GitEstimate estimating product
• Respond to demo, sales, and support requests
• Send estimates and related documents you (or your dealer) asked us to send
• Operate, secure, and improve the website and software

We do not use your information to build lists for sale to unaffiliated companies.

We do not sell or share with other parties

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with unaffiliated companies so they can market to you or use it for their own purposes.

We do use service providers to run GitEstimate — for example hosting, SendGrid for email, Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam, optional Google Analytics, and Calendly if you book a demo. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their service to us, not to use it independently as “other parties.”

Estimates created by builders

When a post-frame or pole barn business uses GitEstimate, customer names and estimate details belong to that builder’s account. We host that data so they can quote jobs, follow up on leads, and produce parts lists. We do not sell that customer information.

Cookies

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and to run the site. If Google Analytics is enabled, it may set cookies to help us understand how the public website is used.

Retention and security

We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Submitted estimates may be removed after a stated period unless saved by the account holder. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect data, but no online service is completely risk-free.

Children

GitEstimate is a business product. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about this policy, by emailing contact@gitestimate.com. If you have a GitEstimate account, you can also update much of your profile inside the product.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of GitEstimate after an update means you accept the revised policy.
